Resignation letter

hey guys, so this is it...it's official.  one more week at my currently wretched lasering job before i quit to begin my deeper endeavors into the unknown world of Urban Allure SF!  I personally am very pleased with my letter since it is very honest (ok, except the part about the "associations" i've made...and it being a "pleasure working there"....) since much of it can be interpreted as positive or negative depending on who's reading.  Anyhow, I thought you all might like a read...and i just wanted to check in with everyone!  Miss you.  Erin      .....

Please accept this letter as my formal notice of resignation from Aneu, effective September 30, 2005.  The associations I’ve made here at Aneu will be very difficult to leave behind.

I would like to thank you deeply for giving me such a wonderful opportunity to try something new and interesting in the world of Nursing.  It’s been a pleasure working for you over the past 4 years.  You taught me a great deal of things I could not have learned elsewhere.

I hope this notice is sufficient for you to find a replacement (or to adjust the other nurse’s schedules).  If I can help train a replacement or tie up any loose ends, please let me know.

Thank you again for giving me such a unique experience here at Aneu.

Sincerely,

Erin Galvin, RN

Good letter, because of the special issues we talked about in France concerning the delicate nature of your departure and the consequences, perhaps it might be best to alter of remove the last line of paragraph 3. Good luck. And I think I need some work in the.. in the you know spot:))) i might need later. Ya, well we will talk later.
